SIX times champion jockey Kieren Fallon was on list at Ely courthouse on Thursday, charged with speeding.

Fallon did not attend court, but submitted a plea of not guilty, and the case was adjourned for four weeks, for a trial date to be set.

Forty-one-year-old Fallon is alleged to have driven a BMW vehicle at 40mph along Milton Road in Cambridge on May 16 last year, where there is a 30 mph speed limit in force.

The jockey, whose address was given as The Severals, Newmarket, also denied that he failed to provide information to the police, relating to the identification of the driver at the time of the alleged offence.
