Parents of pupils at Rackham Primary School in Witchford raised more than £8,000 by taking on the Three Peaks Challenge.
The group set off in the early hours of May 2, driving a total of 1,245 miles, climbing 11,177ft and walking 30 miles as they scaled Snowdon, in Wales, Scafell Pile, in England, and Ben Nevis, in Scotland.
And they achieved the feat in 26hours and 54 minutes.
Their aim was to raise £6,300 for a new computer room at Rackham but on Sunday, at the annual school’s funday event, they presented a cheque for £7,904.14 – with some extra donations on the day taking the final figure £8,004.14.
