A MAN accused of identity theft had his case adjourned after there was confusion about his name and age.
The man, listed with Ely Magistrates' Court as 31-year-old Tarek Mohammed Aleshery, gave the name Khaled Attwa Aish to magistrates on Tuesday and said he was a year older.
There was also a discrepancy between the address the court had for the man and the one he gave.
He did not enter a plea for charges of using a counterfeit Italian ID card and passport.
The man is also accused of stealing three bottles of wine from Soham's Ley Stores in January.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday (February 13).
