PUPILS and staff at Spring Meadow Infant School waltzed, tapped and jived their way to school this week in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The youngsters turned up at the High Barns school dressed up in outfits that represented their favourite form of dance, from street, to disco, flamenco and ballet.
Teacher Alexandra Coley said: “The children all made a massive effort and a great time was had by all as they joined together to perform various dances throughout the day.
“Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that is close to many people’s hearts and the school was delighted to have raised £627.51 for such a worthy cause.”
