A pair of Hugo Boss glasses and a Canon digital SLR camera worth around £400 were stolen in Ely today (Monday June 19).

Alongside photos of the two stolen items, a police spokesman posted on the Facebook page Policing East Cambridgeshire.

The post reads: “Detective Sergeant John Yore would like to reunite these items with their rightful owners.

“We are sure that the rightful owner will be able to tell us a little more about them and where and when they were lost.”

Detective Sergeant Yore said: “We reasonably believe that these items are stolen property.

“We’re very keen to reunite them with their owner(s).

“Come forward, get your property back, and help us with our investigation.

“If you know anything about burglary or theft in East Cambridgeshire call 101 to speak to a police officer.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
