East Cambridgeshire’s two MPs claimed more than £13,000 in expenses in a two-month period last year.
The figures come after a parliamentary watchdog body released details of expenses claimed nationally, which totalled £4.85million.
NE Cambs MP Steve Barclay claimed £9,429.24, while SE Cambs MP Sir Jim Paice claimed £4,196.34.
Sir Jim’s biggest claims were two receipts for £1,516.66 for rent while his lowest claim came in at £13.22 for a TV Licence instalment. He also claimed almost £200 for printer cartridges.
Mr Barclay’s biggest expense was rent at a total of £5,091.67 and his lowest 29p for some foldback stationery clips.
All MPs’ expenses are now published following the parliamentary expenses scandal in 2009, which was triggered by the leak and subsequent publication by The Daily Telegraph.
It followed failed attempts by parliament to prevent disclosure under Freedom of Information legislation.
