East Cambridgeshire PCSO’s Maria Robinson and Matt Chennell were called to Fordham yesterday to help deal with an escaped horse in Fordham.

The horse, which is beautifully kept and looked after, slipped it’s boundaries, much to the concern of passing traffic.

The well groomed animal was reunited with her much relieved owner shortly afterwards.

PCSO Robinson demonstrated her horse whispering abilities and admirably steered the escapee to safety.

She said: “Rural policing gives you something different every day.”
