THIRTY-FIVE new affordable homes could be built in Wisbech Road, Littleport. The 21 three and four bedroom semi-detached and terraced homes and 14 one and two bedroom flats are planned by housing group Cambridge-based Circle Anglia.
Concerns have been raised by the parish council and nearby residents but members of East Cambridgeshire District Council's planning committee at their meeting yesterday (Wednesday) were advised to give the scheme the go-ahead subject to a number of conditions.
