EAST Anglia's Children's Hospice (EACH) has been given a brand new people-carrier worth over £15,000 by the popular morning show GMTV.

The hospice now has a new Mazda5 C-MAV, which seats up to seven people, and will be used by the charity as part of their services supporting children and young people with life-threatening conditions and their families.

"It was a great surprise when GMTV told us we had been chosen to receive the Mazda5 from their 'Caring at Christmas' campaign," said Melanie Chew, EACH (East Anglia Children's Hospices) fundraising manager. "All of us at EACH are delighted with the new car. I'm very impressed by its practicality; the seating system is very clever, giving us great flexibility for staff and children and entry is both easy and safe with the sliding rear doors.
