IN recognition of their chairman John Thurlow's 50 years of service, the Thurlow Nunn Group held a number of fund-raising events throughout 2005 to raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Mr Thurlow recently presented a cheque for £28,666.12 to Annette Thurbon representing EACH.

He said, "I am delighted to be able to make this contribution to such a deserving charity and hope that our donation will go some way to help further their excellent work. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, employees, suppliers and personal friends who contributed so magnificently to our appeal. I have been quite overwhelmed by their exceptional support." Annette said, "We are absolutely thrilled to receive such a generous donation. It is thanks to organisations such as the Thurlow Nunn Group that we can continue to provide care to terminally ill children and their families."
