Sing! Choirs began with just one choir in Ely and now has four which meet each week totalling more than 200 members ranging in age from 18 to 90 years old.

Kathryn Rowland, Sing! Choirs musical director, said: “I still can’t quite believe the success. To now have four choirs that I lead every week is amazing.

“In the last year alone we have raised almost £10,000 for charity, as well as sung to sell out audiences in Ely Cathedral and Tattersalls, Newmarket.

“For 2016, I have even more exciting plans and am really looking forward to making them all a reality.

“It has been lovely seeing how friendships have formed in the choirs and how supportive everyone is of all the members.”

Over the coming months you can see them perform at Cambridge lights switch on in the Grand Arcade and on Market Square on Sunday November 15.

They will be singing in Ely on Market Square supporting the Arthur Rank Festive 5K on Sunday November 22 then on Sunday December 20 they will be at Newmarket’s Winter Wonderland.

They are also supporting the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity light up a life event in December and have been invited to sing at Soham Lodge Care Home in November.
