This year marks the 70th anniversary of the most catastrophic event in East Anglian history since the Second World War.

The documentary is seen by many as the definitive, historical record of the event.

The double DVD contains the original two hour documentary originally supplied on VHS and in addition contains additional footage & interviews not previously included on the taped copy. The photo album integrated on the DVD contains 500 subtitled and categorized photographs of this period.

A new website was launched where a 10 minute trailer of the documentary can be viewed free of charge.

DVD copies of the documentary can be purchased at selected local outlets or through the official website, www.winterof47.co.uk.

A live one hour Powerpoint presentation on the research and production of the documentary by key members of the production team will be given by key local members of the production team at Sutton Pavillion on Friday March 31 at 7pm.

This presentation is also available for other interested groups/parties on request.
