HEROIN worth £30 was found hidden inside Chandra Earwaker's body during an intimate search, Ely magistrates were told on Thursday.

Police carried out a drugs raid at her Ely home on February 9 and Earwaker was arrested.

At the police station, the 42-year-old was searched, and when the packet of drugs was discovered, Earwaker removed it.

Earwaker, of New Barns Road, Ely, admitted possessing the Class A drug.

"This was a small amount of the drug, with a street value of about £30," said solicitor Jacqui Baldwin.

The case was adjourned until May 11 for a pre-sentence report.
