Staff at DS Smith in Newmarket raised more than £600 for the hospice with a golf day.

Machine operator Graham Kingham organised a tournament at Lakeside Lodge Golf Complex, Pidley, in May.

"For the last seven years I've run a golf tournament and we usually make about £50-60, which we give to a local charity," he said.

"But this year I wanted to have a really good crack at it, and we were able to raise £636."

He said 32 members of staff took up the challenge, while other people at the factory took part in a sweepstake.

Suppliers also donated towards the total and the overall winner on the day was Neil Black.
