THE organisers of Wilburton's "best ever" beer festival handed over a cheque for £4,000 to Tracey Tingey of Milton Hospice on Monday.
The festival committee combined real ale, World Cup action, music and food for Wiburton's eight beer festival at the recreation ground in June.
"It was extremely successful," said Paula Hennessy, festival committee member.
"The weather was perfect, all the beer and ciders ran out and we think it was our best year yet."
