ON January 29, 38 walkers, plus the three leaders enjoyed a walk of 2.4miles around Soham. Liz Gwinnett leading and David Clarke and Laurie Budd at the back they started from the church, continued through the church alley to Clay Street, down Clay Street and around Millcorner, over Angle Common and back to Mill Corner, Station Road and over to West Drive, around West Drive Crescent and through Berry Croft, Pratt Street, Paddock Street, Brook Dam Lane, High Street and finally The Ship for coffee where they were warmly welcomed by Tony and Catherine Parramint. Liz Gwinnett, David Clarke and all the walkers were very sorry to hear Saucey Meg's has closed and would like to say a big thank you to Patina Peyton Cooper and her staff for their hospitality over the past three years.
