ON Monday, 39 walkers met at the church for the weekly walk. It was led by Liz Gwinnett with David Clarke and Laurie Budd was at the back. Their walk this week took them from the church, down Churchgate Street and over to Ten Bell Lane, Speed Lane to Bushel Lane, Foxwood, Townsend, Holms Lane, Northfield Road, Northfield Park, Townsend, Martin's Close, Julius Martin Lane, Thornclose, Julius Martin Lane, along Mereside, Station Road, Gardeners Lane, Clay Street, College Road, through the college complex and Gidney Lane to Sand Street and finally welcome refreshments at The Ship.
