In glorious warm sunshine the party went from the church down Fountain Lane to West Drive, around West Drive Crescent to the gardens along Berrycroft to Hall Street over to Foxwood South Poppyfields to Townsend, Holms Lane and through North Drive, The Shade and through Martin's Close, Julius Martin Lane, Pratt Street, Hall Street, Speed Lane, along by the Weatheralls allotments, Eastern Avenue, Brewhouse Lane Paddock Street, Brook Dam Lane, High Street and finally The Ship for welcome refreshments..
