ON Monday, January 8, more new walkers joined the group, bringing a total of 41, plus the three leaders. Starting from the church at about 10am their walk this week took them down Churchgate Street, Station Road, West Drive, around West Drive Crescent, West Drive Gardens, through the passageway and along Mereside. Julius Martin Lane, through Martins Close, The Shade, North Drive, Holmes Lane, Townsend, Foxwood. Hall Street, Speed Lane, Ten Bell Lane, Churchgate Street, High Street, Clay Street and finally Saucy Meg's for welcome refreshments.
