DUE to the weather, the walk was cut short, about 22 walkers braved the weather and with Liz Gwinnett leading and David Clark and Laurie Budd at the back. Their walk this week took them from the church down Fountain Lane to West Drive, through West Drive Gardens to Mereside up Julius Martin Lane and through Berrycroft. West Drive, Gardeners Lane Clay Street and, finally, very welcome refreshments at Saucey Megs. A total of 1.4miles. Next Monday, the walk will start from the church at 10.30am.
