On a rather damp morning, 22 walkers met at the church for the weekly walk. Led by Liz Gwinnett, with Laurie Budd and David Clarke at the back, their walk this week took them from the church down Churchgate Street, Station Road to West Drive, around West Drive Crescent to West Drive Gardens, through the passageway to
Mereside, around Mill Corner to Clay Street, College Road and through the college complex, Sand Street,
King's Parade, Croft Road, The Butts, over Sand Street to Tanners Lane, through The Causeway and Frank Bridges Close, Sand Street, Clay Street and finally Saucey Megs for welcome refreshments.
