WEATHERALLS Primary School has said goodbye to its long-serving headteacher.
Trevor Parsons, who led the school to a glowing Ofsted report in 2007, retired at the end of last term after six years in the post. He will be replaced by assistant headteacher Anne Bevan until a permanent appointment is made. Ofsted inspector Colin Henderson described Mr Parsons' work as "outstanding.
