WEATHERALLS Primary School has said goodbye to its long-serving headteacher. Trevor Parsons, who led the school to a glowing Ofsted report in 2007, retired at the end of last term after six years in the post. He will be replaced by assistant headteacher

WEATHERALLS Primary School has said goodbye to its long-serving headteacher.

Trevor Parsons, who led the school to a glowing Ofsted report in 2007, retired at the end of last term after six years in the post. He will be replaced by assistant headteacher Anne Bevan until a permanent appointment is made. Ofsted inspector Colin Henderson described Mr Parsons' work as "outstanding.
