CCTV images of two thieves who stole alcohol from Tesco in Ely have been released in a bid to help police identify them.

Police are looking to identify the two males in connection with the theft from the store on Angel Drove, on Friday February 19.

The men were caught on the store’s CCTV selecting a number of bottles.

PCSO Ian Hawkins, of Ely police station, said: “We would like the co-operation of the community to help us identify these two males. There is a strong likelihood that they are known locally and traditionally it is the support of the local residents that helps us to resolve matters like this.

“If you believe you can identify either male please call us on 101, leave a message for us on Facebook, or alternatively you can call CrimeStoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
