The Ely and District branch of Cats Protection has a number of older cats who “desperately need good homes.
“Have you been thinking of adopting a feline friend, then why not consider an older cat who is ready to love you?” said Rachel Edwards, of the branch.
“There are many advantages to re-homing the more mature cat; you will find their personality is already developed so you will know if they are a good fit for you and your life.
“They are likely to be house-trained, knowing what furniture not to scratch and what the litter tray is for and not to climb up your curtains.
If you are interested in re-homing any of the cats, contact Linda Hutchinson, Ely and District branch co-ordinator on 01353 699430.
