Have a say on how you want to see East Cambridgeshire develop over the next few years by reading and commenting on the city’s local plan today.
The opportunity to submit comments on East Cambridgeshire District Council’s Local Plan will close tomorrow, Wednesday 22.
The Further Draft Local Plan, which is in the second round of consultation in a three-stage process, has been open for feedback since January 12.
The draft has been prepared following a review of the 2015 Local Plan and comments received during the initial consultation.
The newest draft sets out a series of maps with the council’s preferred housing and employment allocations to meet the plan’s growth targets.
Councillor Coralie Green, service delivery champion for strategic planning at East Cambridgeshire District Council, said: “I encourage residents to feedback their thoughts on the Local Plan, the final version of which will shape the district over the next few years.
“As with the initial stage of the consultation, the council will consider the wishes of residents and, where possible, reflect these into the final draft.”

The council will also accept feedback from residents by letter or email.
The third and final consultation is due to take place later this year.
