SOHAM may soon have its own Billy Elliot.
Seven-year-old Harry Woor passed his primary ballet exam with flying colours this week, earning himself a 90 per cent distinction grade.
Harry, who attends the Weatheralls School in Soham, is the only boy in his class at Octagon Studios in Ely. He started dancing at the start of the school year last September and despite a three-week absence from classes, when he fell off a scooter and punctured his lung, the dance enthusiast went on to make a full recovery and was back at the barre within a month.
Harry will perform extracts from The Nutcracker ballet alongside other Octagon dance students at Aquafest on June 29.
