FORTY-year-old Little Thetford man Robert Blair has been charged with harassing a woman in Ely over a period of six weeks.
Blair is alleged to have harassed Katherine Westley between September 19 and November 1, by following her on foot and in his vehicle.
It is alleged he made verbal comments and hand gestures towards her in St John's Road, Chiefs Street, and in Ely city centre.
The self-employed painter and decorator, of Two Acres, Little Thetford, appeared in custody before Ely magistrates on Thursday.
The case was adjourned for two weeks and he was given conditional bail.
He was ordered not to contact his alleged victim or other witnesses, to live at his home address, and to keep out of Ely unless attending court.
