CALLS to the police soared last night (Tuesday) as groups of youths ran amok on Halloween night.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary's Force Control Room received an average of one call a minute and a total of 170 calls, the majority of which were in relation to trick or treaters, eggs being thrown or large groups of youths hanging around neighbourhoods.
The late shift received nearly twice as many calls as on an average night.
