Hair and beauty students at Ely College came up with a range of colourful designs and ideas as part of their course.
In order to complete their level one coursework, each Year 11 student needed to create a final image based on a theme that included hair design and styling, nail art design and fantasy make-up art.
After lots of research and practice runs, the final photo shoot included themes like ‘flower fairies’, ‘cheshire cats’, ‘mermaids’ (...alive and dead), ‘batwoman’, an ‘ice queen’, ‘butterflies’ and ‘my little ponies’.
Teachers Jo Bonnett and Julie Constable said they were overwhelmed by the efforts and enthusiasm achieved by each student.
The students aspire to continue within hair and beauty and all are progressing to either Cambridge Regional College, College of West Anglia, Ely Sixth Form or have secured various hair dressing apprenticeships.
