ON Sunday, a special morning service taken by the Rev Steve Watts was held to mark the 25 years of the Shell Group meeting at this church. The minister, in recognition of her 25 years service to the Shell Group, presented a certificate to Barbara Galley.

ON Sunday, a special morning service taken by the Rev Steve Watts was held to mark the 25 years of the Shell Group meeting at this church.

The minister, in recognition of her 25 years service to the Shell Group, presented a certificate to Barbara Galley. Some past members of the Shell Group also attended the service of celebration along with the current members of the group.

Afterwards, the congregation enjoyed a light buffet lunch. Barbara Galley, Kate Hopkinson and Audrey Kirk, present and past leaders of the Shell Group, cut the celebration cake.

INFO: Children aged 7-plus are welcome to join the Shell Group on alternate Fridays from 7pm till 8.30pm. The next meeting in the hall behind the church on Friday, July 6, which will be a craft evening, and the final meeting on July 20 will be a picnic in the orchard.
