Grease is the word at Soham Village College

Rock n roll blasts onto the stage at Soham when students pull on their bobby socks and leather jackets for a production of Grease.

A cast of 40 will be hand jive and burnin’ down the quarter mile with some electrifyin’ dance moves for the sold out show at the village college.

Bad boy Danny, played by Nils Carr, and the girl next door Sandy, played by Niamh Hutton, fall in love at this the original High-School musical, featuring some of the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including Hopelessly Devoted To You, Sandy and Greased Lightnin’.

So throw your mittens around your kittens and hand-jive the night away with a show that students have been rehearsing for since October.

In the Pink Ladies and T Birds cast are Zara Minns as Rizzo, Lizi Nicholson as Marty, Eleanor Hague as Frenchie, Bronwyn Smith as Jan, Matthew Whitworth as Dooody, Jake Stearne as Roger, Jordan Thorpe as Kenickie, Joseph Oliveira-Lloyd.

Musical director is Gemma Perry, Choreographer is Fiona Bartley and it is directed by Peter Hedge and Mikey Kowalczyk.
