EAST Cambridgeshire community and voluntary groups are being encouraged to apply for a share of £115,000 in grants from Cambridgeshire County Council.
Small groups with a total income of less than £50,000 per year can apply for grants of up to £3,000 each.
To be eligible, a group must be a not-for-profit organisation and be carrying out work which directly benefits residents living in the area covered by the county council.
The group must show it is in need of financial help, be properly managed and promote equal opportunities.

Completed application forms must be received by October 3, 2007.
