FUNDS for the Old Dispensary community hall received a boost of more than £1,000 from a concert at Ely's Hayward Theatre.

The event included music from the King School's senior orchestra, concert band, jazz band, King's Barbers, VoiceXchange and chamber groups.

It was the 16th annual fundraiser organised by the school to raise money for the Old Dispensary in St Mary's Street and the overall total stands at more than £12,000.
