Business giants Google and Microsoft are coming to Ely next month to speak to local businesses for the first East Cambs Business Boost event.
Speakers Abbey Oldapo from Google and Microsoft’s James Marshall will deliver their marketing masterclasses at the Maltings on November 10. Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, James Palmer and SE Cambs MP Lucy Frazer will also be at the free event, which runs from 9am to 2pm.
The event, organised by East Cambs District Council’s Enterprise East Cambridgeshire team, the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP, Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses, will bring up to 200 small and medium-sized businesses together.
Councillor Steve Cheetham, service delivery champion for economic development at the district council, said: “East Cambs Business Boost is a new format agreed with a diverse range of local businesses and partners.
“We are delighted that Google and Microsoft will be joining us - this is a real opportunity for SMEs to take their business to the next level.”
