A CHARITY Golf day has raised £2,800 for Liam's Fund.
The event, which took place last month, was organised by Cambridgeshire police officers Steve Bedny and Mike Dyke and held at the Cambridge National Golf Club, in Toft.
Mr Bedny said: "Someone from the police has organised these golf days every year for the last 45 years to raise money for various children's charities. This year's event went really well, with about 80 people taking part."
A raffle and auction was held, with several prizes donated by local businesses.
Liam attended the event and had a golf lesson with the club's professional, Craig Watson.
