YOUNGSTERS across East Cambridgeshire are being given the chance to get their hands on a share of £8,000 by coming up with ideas and projects.
The Youth Bank, run by a group of 15 to 19-year-olds, is offering grants for schemes run by young people which give them and other young people "things to do". This could be anything from sports activities, art projects or youth projects to being a DJ.
It draws on cash from the Youth Opportunity Fund and the money is part of £500,000 available to youngsters throughout Cambridgeshire.
The projects or activities must encourage one of the following among the young people:
# to be healthy
# stay safe
