YOUNGSTERS across East Cambridgeshire are being given the chance to get their hands on a share of £8,000 by coming up with ideas and projects.
The Youth Bank, run by a group of 15 to 19-year-olds, is offering grants for schemes run by young people which give them and other young people "things to do". This could be anything from sports activities, art projects or youth projects to being a DJ.

The projects or activities must encourage one of the following among the young people:
# to be healthy
# stay safe
# to enjoy and achieve
# to make a positive contribution
# to achieve economic well being
Anyone aged between 13-19 and living in East Cambs or Fenland can apply to find find out if an idea fits the Youth Bank criteria and guidelines.
