The Ely Standard has teamed up with the City of Ely Perspective to find the city’s best dressed Christmas window.

The event will be judged by keen-eyed observers from both the Standard and Perspective, with the winner awarded a glass plaque and the Ely Standard shield, presented by the mayor of Ely, Cllr Elaine Griffin-Singh.

To help businesses take part, the Ely Perspective has arranged a 10 per cent discount on Christmas decorations and lights at Wilkinson.

To obtain the discount, take a letterhead to the information desk in The Cloisters store and mention that you are taking part in the competition.

Last year, St Mary’s Street barber Tony Milan won the coveted best dressed window award and he is sure to be in the running again this year, so get decorating!
