CHAIRMAN John Groves welcomed members to the meeting and introduced Caroline Furlong, one of our members, who spoke about pot plants we usually buy for Christmas and showed us various ways of arranging them and how to look after them. John thanked her and some lucky members went home with the results as part of the raffle.
On Tuesday, December 12 members are going by coach to Scotsdale Nursery in Cambridge, leaving the Brooklands Centre at 6pm. There are a few seats left, at £3, anyone interested in going should contact Janet on 01353 778337.
The next meeting in the Brooklands Centre, Sutton is on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 7.45pm. This is our annual meeting, followed by cheese, wine. Feel free to come and join us.
