For the past few weeks Soham man Colin Palmer has been at the centre of a games club at the town's Clay Street library each Friday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
For just £1 per session, which includes tea and coffee, anyone can enjoy a game of chess, draughts, cribbage or virtually any other card game and any of the many board games. Colin stresses that there is no age limit and is more than happy to teach aspiring grand masters the rudiments of chess and to share his knowledge of many of the other games.
