Year 11 pupils from Witchford Village College marked the end of their schooling with a prom held on Friday evening.
More than 100 pupils arrived at the school, travelling in everything from industrial diggers right down to a humble ride-on lawnmower.
Some chose to contrast the elegance of the traditional prom dress with the boldness of the articulated lorry, while others sought a more tongue-in-cheek approach.
Whatever their mode of transport, each and every pupil was welcomed with rapturous applause by hundreds of friends and family who lined the route into the college car park.
The event was held to celebrate the end of the pupil’s five years at the Manor Road college as they await the results of their GCSE examinations, due out in mid-August.
