SOHAM’S Viva Theatre Group played to sell out crowds at the world famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The 13-strong company of actors, actresses and production crew put on five performances of Viva’s version of hit 80s musical Footloose in the Scottish capital, drawing hundreds to the shows.
The festival fringe showcases the arts from across the UK and the world, with hundreds of actors, comedians, poets and singers converging every year on the city to perform.
Ely councillor Mike Rouse, who travelled with the company, said: “They were a pleasure to take, they worked hard, prepared well and gave good performances every night. They didn’t give us a single problem.
“The festival is all about the experience of seeing other shows and putting on one of your own and they worked the Royal Mile superbly.”
