HIRSUTE Adam Law braved the beautician's waxing strip this week in aid of Comic Relief.

Sainsbury’s employee Adam, 24, initially only signed up to have his legs waxed but promised he would have his chest done too if the shoppers at the Lisle Lane superstore donated £20.

Less than 15 minutes later, the money was raised and Adam had to grin and bear it as chunks of his cherished chest hair were waxed by beautician Nicole Hornett

Joining Adam for the event was colleague Matthew Warby, 19, who also had his legs waxed as a crowd looked on.

The event brought in more than £30, which was added to the store’s overall Comic Relief fund.
