DOZENS of youngsters were out fine-tuning their running, jumping and sprinting this week for the return of the annual Soham Superstars event.
The yearly sporting extravaganza, which featured a host of disciplines including table-canoeing, athletics, swimming and football, was held at the Ross Peers Sports Centre and brought in more than 70 budding sports stars for the three-day event.
The event itself has been running in the village for 20 years and was finished this year, as ever, with the famous assault course.
Co-organiser Claire Morton, said: "All the kids enjoyed the event and the weather was good so I think everyone had a good time, especially with the sports like canoeing and archery which they wouldn't normally be able to do.
