The Ely and Littleport Riot held a Morris dancing taster day in the city on Saturday.
The Riot were joined by the Coton Morris Men at the event, which took place outside the Forum, in Barton Road.
Both Morris sides have recently returned from a Morris dance tour of New Zealand where they demonstrated the art across the country along with internatinoal sides from Australia, America and New Zealand.
In Ely on Saturday, the two sides displayed a number of their dances for visitors while taking questions on the traditional folk past time and its long association with East Cambridgeshire and the surrounding Fens. The Riot dance in the border style while the Coton Morris dance in the Cotswold style.
John Blackwell, of Coton Morris, said: “There were a lot of people who came along and showed interest in our dancing so it all went very well.”
