MEPAL Sports dented Little Downham's push for the top places as they edged to a 1-0 victory at Witcham Road.
There was nothing to separate the two mid-table sides in the corresponding fixture played back in September as the game finished in a pulsating 2-2 draw. On this occasion however, a solitary goal from Mepal was enough to settle what was a tight encounter.
The win, Mepal's third in five games, sees them move up into eighth place in the BIS Division 3B with Little Downham stranded in sixth position following their first loss in four.
