Mepal and Witcham Primary School was awash with pink on Friday as pupils and staff at the village primary school turned up for class in their best and brightest outfits.
Head teacher Nicola Jones led the way in a pink leopard print ‘oneise’ with an abundance of pink fairies, ballerina tutus and garish ties among the school’s 62 pupils.
The school hopes to have raised more than £150 for Breast Cancer Research through donations taken on the day.
Mrs Jones said: “The children suggested the idea at a school council, and the boys in particular were very keen to dress in pink. The day went fantastically well and everyone got involved.”
