ELY Lions celebrated a successful summer fete by donating £600 to bowel cancer charity.
The Lions held a traditional fair with coconut shy, hoopla, tombola, homemade cake stall and even a paddling pool for young children to cool off in.
Usually, the Lions are inundated with requests to raise money for various charities, but this time the fundraising committee decided to choose their own charity after one of its members had personal experience of the disease.
The Lions raise money for local and national charities by putting on events. If you would like them to help your organisation, visit www.elylions.org.uk
