THIRTY hardy souls from Sutton were up at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning, to take part in a half marathon walk in aid of Cancer Research, to support their work in fighting breast cancer.
This is the seventh year that walkers have stepped out around the Fens for the Best Boob Forward walk - and have already raised £19,000 for the charity through sponsorship, and hope this year’s effort will take them past the £20,000 barrier.
Walkers started from Sutton Pavilion at 5am, and were met by a welcoming committee on their return, with glasses of bucks fizz and a hearty cooked breakfast.
One of the organisers, Helen Malkin, said: “I would like to thank everyone who walked, our fantastic support team, and the catering team that provided us with very welcome breakfast.”
