SKATERS and bikers were strutting their stuff in Soham at the weekend as part of a special summer holiday competition.

Organised by the Soham Heritage and Tourism Group, the competition was held at the new skatepark on the town’s recreation ground, with more than a dozen entrants divided into two categories.

Each competitor was judged on a three minute freestyle routine, scored and progressed through knockout/playoff rounds. There were then prizes for the first three finishers in each age group.
